Cantus Mercurialiksen 40-vuotisjuhlakonsertti

Tervetuloa kuuntelemaan Turun Kauppakorkeakoulun sekakuoron Cantus Mercurialiksen 40-vuotisjuhlakonserttia lauantaina 19.11.2022 klo 15.00! Konsertti järjestetään Turun Akatemiatalon juhlasalissa. Konsertin ohjelmistossa yhdistyvät teemat juhlavuus, perinne ja monipuolisuus. Konsertin johtaa Ville-Veikko Hämäläinen.

Sekakuoro Cantus Mercurialis on vuonna 1982 Turun kauppakorkeakoulun ylioppilaskunnan kuoroksi perustettu opiskelijakuoro. Kuoro edustaa hienoa akateemista lauluperinnettä noin kolmenkymmenen laulajan voimin. Nyt kuoro juhlii 40-vuotista taivaltaan, jonka aikana se on tuonut iloa ja herkkiä hetkiä kuulijoilleen kotimaassa ja ulkomailla.

Welcome to Cantus Mercurialis 40th Anniversary Concert on Saturday 19th November 2022 at 15.00, held at Turun Akatemiatalon juhlasali. In the concert the audience can enjoy the themes of festivity, tradition and versatility to get a glimpse of the choir’s 40 year long journey. The choir is conducted by Ville-Veikko Hämäläinen.

The mixed student choir Cantus Mercurialis was founded in 1982 by a group of eager students at Turku School of Economics. Today the choir represents the fine academic song tradition with its 30 singers. This year the choir celebrates its 40 years long journey, and looks back at the years when the choir has brought happy and tender moments for its audiences both in Finland and abroad.
