TYY 103rd annual ball

We warmly welcome you to the 103rd Annual Ball of the Student Union of the University of Turku on 7.11.2025 at Turku Castle!

The celebration begins with a cocktail event and greetings at the Turku Castle Queen’s Hall at 16.00.

The dinner is served in Turku Castle King’s Hall at 18.00. Dances will begin after the dinner at the same venue. The after party will be held at a different venue. Venue will be announced at the dinner party. There is a shared transportation to the after party. The buses will stop at Turku City center on the way to the after party.

The Herring Breakfast is served the next morning from 11.00 to 16.00 at the TYY Sauna.

Dress code

Evening dress or dark suit and academic decorations.

Registration opens on October 1, 2025, at 15.00. Registration closes on October 22, 2025, at 23.55.

Accessibility

Accessible access to the Castle is via Nuottasaarenkatu – Satamakatu – Linnanpuisto. The entrance is from the West Tower of the Main Castle. Both rooms on the banquet floor are also accessible during the annual ball. Staff will provide instructions on how to use the elevator on site. There is an accessible toilet along the route.
