TYY 104th annual ball

We warmly welcome you to the 104th Annual Ball of the Student Union of the University of Turku on 7.11.2026 at Kåren!

The celebration begins with a cocktail event and greetings at the Argentina hall in Kåren at 16.00.

The dinner is served in Kåren ballroom at 18.00. After dinner, there will be dancing. The after party will be held at a different venue. Venue will be announced at the dinner party. There is a shared transportation to the after party.

The Herring Breakfast is served the next morning from 11.00 at the TYY Sauna.

Ticket prices

Standard ticket for TYY members: 85 €
Standard ticket for non-TYY members: 105 €
Support ticket 150 €

Dress code

Evening dress or dark suit and academic decorations.

Signing up to the party

Registration opens on October 1, 2026, at 12.00. Registration closes on October 20, 2026, at 23.55.

If you would like to remember us with a present, we kindly ask you to donate to the donation causes chosen. The causes will be announced closer to the annual ball and will also be updated on our website.

Accessibility

Kåren has an accessible entrance. There is an elevator at the outer doors that takes you to the entrance. In the lobby, there is an elevator that takes you to the second floor, where both party venues are located. Staff will provide on-site guidance on how to use the elevator. There is an accessible restroom in the Kåren lobby on the first floor.

The after-party venue is also accessible by elevator. The venue has an accessible restroom. There are no thresholds when moving from one room to another at the after-party venue.
