sTYYlish May Day Picnic 2026

May 1st, students and other citizens gather at Vartiovuorenmäki for a Vappu picnic at 12-16. After all the Vappu extravaganza during the previous night, it's time to enjoy spring time in a relaxed atmosphere, eat traditional Vappu food and drink some mead (Sima) with friends.

Bring a picnic quilt, some food and sima, maybe some games, and all your friends!

Summer Peace will also be declared for the second time during the picnic. The picnic stage will also be taken over by TYPERÄ TYPERÄ MIES, the winner of Aprillirock 2026. The day’s lineup will be headlined by Nössö Nova, known for their unforgettable performances!!

TYY wings are also participating the Picnic with their SiistiVappu-campaign. The wings will give more information later on about the campaign and a competition related to the theme.
