Tram to Campus! -event
On Tuesday, 31 March, a tram-themed event will be held next to Student House A, inviting students and others interested to learn about the tramway plans and their possibilities. The event offers both light outdoor activities and an expert speaker programme indoors.
Outdoor Programme 12:00–14:00 – In front of Assarin Ullakko
At the outdoor stand, you can experience the atmosphere of the tram through various activity points while learning about the tramway project. On site you’ll find, for example:
- Route map and sticker voting
- Prize wheel with tram-themed rewards
- Flyers and info snippets
- A “social media photo tram” for fun pictures
The programme combines easy activities with an accessible way to explore how the tram could affect mobility, the urban landscape, and everyday life in Turku.
Speaker Programme 12:30–13:30 – Student House A, 2nd floor, Turku Hall (Finnish Only)
The talks focus on the tram’s impact on Turku’s development, economy, and student life. The schedule is as follows:
