The opening carnival will culminate in an evening party, which will kick off when Night Club Marilyn, Vegas Night Club, and Forte Nightclub open their doors at 9 pm on September 2.

Tickets for the evening party cost only 3,5 €. You can get yourself a ticket in advance or you can buy a ticket at the door when you arrive at the party. Advance tickets can be purchased on campus at the following times:

  • Mon August 25, 11 am–1 pm @Assarin ullakko front yard
  • Wed August 27, 12–2 pm @Welcome Fair, TYY stand
  • Fri August 29, 10 am–3 pm @Study in Turku fair, TYY stand
  • Tue September 2, 12–2 pm @Opening Carnival, TYY tent

PLEASE NOTE! When you buy a ticket, you will be given a wristband that guarantees you entry to the party. All advance ticket purchasers will be reserved an overall badge until 11 pm (at each of the three entrances). After 11 pm, overall badges will be distributed in order of arrival. If you want to make sure to get an overall badge, be there before 11 pm!

PLEASE NOTE! Advance tickets can only be purchased with card payment. Tickets at the bar can only be purchased with cash.

As usual, the party atmosphere will be lifted by Turun speksit (Speksi is interactive student theatre. Turun speksit gathers all the different student theatres in Turku University together.) joint band Speksivalistus, which will take over the floor at Marilyn at midnight. You definitely don't want to miss this amazing show.

So remember to check the advance ticket sales times and guarantee an entry to the best party of the fall!

Marilyn and Vegas:
Both floors are accessible by wheelchair. There are stairs from street level to both of our nightclubs, but our staff personally assist customers using wheelchairs. A lightweight manual wheelchair can even be carried up the stairs if the customer wishes. Customers using electric wheelchairs are guided in via ramps. Vegas has an accessible restroom, and in Marilyn, we assist wheelchair users by taking the elevator to Vegas. Our event spaces have no thresholds, and there are suitable table areas where a stool can be moved aside to make room for a wheelchair.
