Turku Pride 2026 -parade

Join the University of Turku and TYY in our shared block at Turku Pride on 29 August 2026!

Assembly of the parade blocks begins at 11:00 at Vähätori by the riverside. The parade will set off from Läntinen Rantakatu at approximately 12:00. The University of Turku and TYY will march in Block 2.1. The first block will assemble near the Library Bridge (Kirjastosilta). You can once again spot the University and TYY block by the large, colourful balloons featuring the University of Turku logo.

The parade will start from the riverside area and end at Kupittaa Park. The detailed route and a separate joining point for participants with reduced mobility, providing access to a shorter route, will be announced later.

We encourage all student organisations and students to join us in marching for equality and equal rights!
