Ensuring that the student's voice is heard is the core task of the Student Union. Based on the law, the Student Union elects student representatives to the university's governing bodies. In addition, representatives of the Student Union work in the university's various councils and working groups.
Representatives of the Student Union also work in various cooperation groups and in the administration of common stakeholders, such as the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS).
