University's Spring Cleaning Day on May 7th

Welcome to Spring Cleaning Day!

The Spring Cleaning Day will be on 7 May from 11 am to 3 pm. Do you have unnecessary items or old small electronics in your apartment? Are you still having your small or broken clothes? Would you like to hear about the importance of circular economy?

The University of Turku organizes the Spring Cleaning Day for the entire university community and there will be many ways to participate.

Come and hear inspiring speeches from circular economy entrepreneurs, researchers and experts. You can also find tips on how to repair goods and extend the life cycle. Bring old clothes, small electronics for recycling. In addition, you can book a flea market table, bring old goods for sale and thus promote the circular economy. You can also use your own blanket to hold a flea market point if you wish. 

The public lectures will be held in the Edu1 hall from 11 am to 2 pm (in Finnish).

The flea market is open from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm in the lobby of Educarium and the campus square in front of Educarium.

The recycling points are open in the lobby of Educarium and the campus square from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm.
