Well-being Week 8 - 12 April 2024 - learn more about the programme and come along!

Together with the Student Union (TYY), Study in Turku and On My Mind, the University's Study and Work Well-being Services are organizing a Well-Being Week for the entire university community on 8-12 April 2024, alongside Nyyti ry’s Student Mental Health Week (8-14 April)!

Throughout the week, various events will be held. Check out the programme below and come along!

Well-being Week 2024 – The Programme 

Both students and staff members are welcome to join!
 

Monday 8 April from 11 am to 1 pm Well-being Market for students at the University Hill  

The Well-being market for students will take place on Monday 8 Apr from 11-13 at the University Hill. At the market, you'll have the opportunity to meet various well-being professionals, support services, and organizations dedicated to enhancing students' study ability and overall well-being. Some of the participants include Tsempparit, EHYT ry., Ohjaamo, Care Dogs, the library's reading corner, and the university's internal support services!​

Well-being Market is an outdoor event, but if it rains, the event will take place in the hallway of Natura. 
 

 

Wednesday 10 April   

1) Students' trip to Kurjenrahka National Park from 10 am to 4 pm

It's time again to take a breather in the forest and enjoy a picnic by the campfire. TYY, Study in Turku and On My Mind invite you to join a day trip to Kurjenrahka national park.

2) Webinar by Satu Teerikangas: Emotions at work. Colleagueship as a silent super power in academic workplaces? 

Emotions at work - Nonsense or power for collaboration? is a series of three webinars organised jointly by 7 universities: the universities of Eastern Finland, Oulu, Vaasa, Tampere, Turku, Åbo Akademi and Aalto University. 

The webinar explores what is colleagueship in the workplace, and why it matters also in academic work. Based on the presentation, you will gain an appreciation of how you can improve yourself as a co-worker.

Thursday 11 April from 12am to 2pm, Well-being day at Rauma campus
 

Friday 12 April from 10 am to 4 pm Elephant ball tournament

Elephant ball does not mean playing with elephants, but normal football with an exercise ball! The tournament is open to students and staff of the University of Turku. Gather your Elephant ball team and sign up by Sunday 7 April!
