TYY's guidelines are based on:
We have categorised different situations with color codes. Currently, the red time guidelines will be followed. Red light stage in force on all campusesThe traffic light model for the coronavirus situation defines the level of safety measures at the University of Turku. At the moment, the red light stage of the traffic light model is in force on all the University’s campuses. The management of the University of Turku decided on 27 January 2021 that all the University’s campuses, also Rauma and Pori, stay on the red light stage of the traffic light model for the coronavirus situation. This means, among other things, that the use of the University’s facilities is restricted. Work and studies are conducted mainly remotely. Masks are always used in all the University's facilities. The minimum safe distance to other people is now 2 metres instead of the earlier 1.5 metres. The University’s traffic light model for the coronavirus situation can be changed to the yellow light stage once the Hospital District of Southwest Finland moves from the community transmission phase to the acceleration phase. The safety measures and related instructions at the Rauma and Pori campuses can be reviewed separately if necessary. At the University of Turku, remote teaching and studying will continue throughout the spring semester (3rd and 4th period) in accordance with the earlier policy. Contact teaching that is not possible to teach at distance can be organised in small groups while taking into account the restrictions on the number of participants. ► University’s traffic light model for coronavirus situation Please send any further inquiries and questions primarily by email to koronainfo@utu.fi.
