Survey for international students in international degree programmes: Tuition fees and studying in Finland

This survey is meant for international degree students enrolled in international Bachelor’s and Master's degree programmes. If you are an international student studying your whole degree in Finland, this is your chance to share your experiences and give feedback.

The purpose is to collect information on students’ experiences of tuition fees, their studies in Finland and the services provided. You can take part in the survey even if you are not a fee-paying student. Please answer the questionnaire by 30 April 2021. Answering will take about 15 minutes. You can also pause and save your answers if you are not able to finish during one session.

News about TYY's development cooperation in Zambia

World Water Day was celebrated 22 March. The theme of the Water Day of the Year was "valuing water", which will reflect on the value of water and what it means to us: water has a wide range of uses and we cannot do without water. The World Water Day website provides more information about the theme day

The theme of the day is also important in the development cooperation project of TYY and the Global Dry Toilet Association of Finland in Zambia. The project is closely related to water, as Zambia suffers from water shortages in the countryside as well as in the cities. The project improves sanitation by building toilets and boreholes, and improves hand hygiene through, for example, handwashing dispensers and training.

Yle – the Finnish Broadcasting Company is looking for a person to give an interview

We are preparing an episode for the tv-program A-studio about the different Covid-variants in Finland. A-studio is a current affairs tv-show on Yle TV 1. (https://areena.yle.fi/1-3229465).

Last week a variant similar to the South African covid-variant was reported to spread among the students in Turku. We are looking for a person who has tested positive for covid and who would be willing to give us a tv-interview about his/her symptoms and life under quarantine. If you could give us an interview (by eg. Google Meet, Microsoft Teams), please get in touch. The interview would be recorded on Monday 29.3. or early Tuesday 30.3.
