Vote for the University's Language Deed of the Year 2019

The University's Language Deed of the Year will be awarded to a person, group, unit or other entity that has adapted and significantly advanced the implementation of the Language Policy of the University of Turku. You can vote for one of the three nominees: the Vastalääke association, Finnish Language Passport and Professor Ilari E. Sääksjärvi. The Language Deed of the Year prize is awarded by the Working Group on Language Matters at the University's Opening Carnival in September. Remember to return the starting package

The opening hours of the remaining semester have been now updated on our website. The rest of the opening hours will be posted soon. During the week 22 the Starting Package Office is open every day except for Thursday (30 May). If you are non-EEA/ EU student:
When returning the package, please check the storage opening hours and also the TYY Service Desk opening hours, as you'll receive your deposit in cash from there.

What to do before going home?

Dear Exchange Students, Time has passed quickly and it is soon time to say goodbye. We would like to remind you of some important matters to take care of before you leave. PLEASE NOTE: International Office (Student Centre Disco) will be exceptionally closed on 30 – 31 May 2019 (Ascension Day). On other times, we are open from Monday to Friday between 12 and 14. Between 15 – 29 May 2019 Disco is open between 10 and 14. In urgent matters, please send a message to incoming@utu.fi.
