New exchange student, welcome to TurkuThe Student Union of the University of Turku (TYY) would like to welcome you to Turku and to the University of Turku. We are happy to have you here. Jenni Airola is International Supertutor 2016Jenni Airola provided a good team spirit and paid attention to everyone equally. Airola also contacted all the students she tutored well in advance and made them feel more than welcome. Eeva Markkanen was selected as the Supertutor of 2016. Tutor Lassi Laine and International Tutor Miikal Hovi received honorable mentions. Language Circles for international students and Finnish students start againLanguage circle is a free time activity carried out by international and Finnish students. Groups are available in different languages, and the idea is to use that specific language in the group so that the native speakers can help non-native speakers practice their language skills. At the end of the semester, the participants will receive a certificate to show that they have participated. TYY is looking for organisation to distribute advertisements in 2017TYY is looking for student organisation to distribute of advertisements and posters during 2017. Distribution will be organised about 10-12 times a year. The compensation for distribution is 400 euros. |

In this lecture we will take a short look at job seeking in Finland in general and talk about hidden job market.
