Working in Finland Fair

The Universities' Career Services and Student Unions welcome you to join our Working in Finland Fair for international students 2 December.

At the different stands you can get info/help with the following:

  • CV-clinic; get advice on your CV and application letter
  • Get a professional photo taken for you CV
  • Simulated job interviews; job interview training
  • How to run a business, guidance and information on entrepreneurship
  • Information on trade unions, employment services, etc.
  • City of Turku: Kielisilta and services

The Fair is organized by the POLKU-project in cooperation with the universities Career Services and Student Unions.

Welcome to the traditional Independence Day Parade

The students of all the universities of Turku gather for the traditional Independence Day parade on Sunday, December 6. The atmospheric and peaceful parade starts in front of the Yo-talo A (Student Building, Rehtorinpellonkatu 4 A) at 5.45 pm.

Eleven people applied for TYY's Executive Board

Eleven people applied for TYY's Executive Board. One of the applicants is an international student. The Student Union Council decides the new Executive Board on its meeting on 7 December. 

TYY is looking for new members in its four Wings for 2017

Wings are part of Students Union's organisation and their goal is to give ideas and work for better Student Union. In wings you have freedom to create new free time activities and take care of student's interests. The Wings are based on four different themes which are environment, internationality, development cooperation and accessibility.

Applying time is until 1 December at 23.59

Suggest organisation for TYY International Award

TYY International Award competition is organised this year for the first time. In the competition students or organisations can propose their own or other organisation for the winner of the award.

What to do before going home?

Time has passed quickly and it is soon time to say good-bye. International Office would like to remind you of some important matters to take care of before you leave. The matters does NOT apply to students staying in Turku for the Spring Semester.
