International Vappu TYY together with International Office is inviting international students for International Vappu. See what else happens during Vappu Keep calm and pick up your trash To prevent littering, the TYY Environmental Wing will organize a “SiistiVappu” campaign to remind and encourage students to take care of the environment even during the vappu festivities. The TYY Environmental Wing is arranging a picture competition, with the hashtags #siistivappu and #siistiturku, and will reward the best pictures with prizes after the vappu week. The Wing will choose the best picture, which will reward with a gift card to Luomukassi (20€). We will also reward the picture, which gets the most likes with a prize bag from Ruohonjuuri. What to Do Before Going Home? Dear Exchange Students, time has passed quickly and it is soon time to say good-bye. We would like to remind you of some important matters to take care of before you leave. Vote for the Language Deed of the Year 2016! The University staff and students can vote for the University of Turku’s Language Deed of the Year 2016 by selecting their favourite from among five nominees. The vote is open 20 April–4 May and the winner will be announced at the University's Opening Carnival in September. Turku Cathedral Climbing he Student Unions TYY, ÅAS and TUO organise a tour for the international students on Wednesday 4 May at 16. The tour will include stairs climbing to the top of the Cathedral tower. The tour will end at 18:30. All the participants must be in a good physical shape.
