Where are you, 2013 graduate?

News | 4.10.2018

It has now been about five years since you graduated from the University of Turku. We would like to hear about your experiences in the working life and so we are conducting a survey that is part of the career monitoring carried out by the national Aarresaari network of universities. The survey has been sent to all who graduated from university in 2013 with a master’s degree or discontinued bachelor’s degree.

Every response is highly important! The education provided at universities will be developed on the basis of the feedback, and the information will also be utilized in research.

By responding, you will help both current and future students. Gaining information about the career paths of graduates is valuable for current and future students when they are deciding on their studies and job opportunities. The information about survey has been sent to you via post mail. You can answer the survey by using the paper version or online version (the link provided in the post mail).

Would you like to know how other graduates in your field have found employment? Visit the website toissa.fi. The service is based on the results of career monitoring surveys carried out in previous years, and the results collected now will also be included in it.

Your answers will be processed completely confidentially. The information you have given will be linked to background information (such as study field and main subject) received from the student register with a personal identification code. Additionally, the code helps monitor the returned surveys. The material gathered based on the answers will not include direct identification data and the results will always be reported in a format that ensures that feedback given by an individual participant cannot be identified (for example, Töissä.fi). The materials will be stored as anonymised data in electronic format in the Finnish Social Science Data Archive (uta.fi/fsd). For more detailed information on which data are processed by us and how, please see our Privacy Policy (www.utu.fi/rekry, www.aarresaari.net/uraseuranta). These locations also hold information on the employment of previous graduates.

Thanks for your response and the best of success!
