Sustainable Development Studies (KEKO) is an optional multidisciplinary Minor for all students of the University of Turku.
KEKO is a unique training program that coaches you into Sustainable Development agent by engaging you into the process of creating collective sustainability expertise - together with other students.
Sustainable Development Studies (25 credits) consists of a core course (10 cr.) spanning from September to early May, as well as a selection of optional courses (15 cr). The optional courses offer perspectives to sustainability from social and natural sciences, law, humanistic and business angles. The teamwork-based core course immerses students of different disciplines into an interdisciplinary research collaboration, integrating the four dimensions of sustainability and providing the skills for advancing sustainability in the working life.
Application time for the KEKO course 2020-2021 is open from 4th May until 21st August 2020.
