Free entrance to Turku Art Museum on 8 October

OFF TO THE MUSEUM WE GO!

Turku Art Museum is taking part in the event Off to the Museum We Go! by offering all students free admission on Friday, 8 October when the museum will be open from 11.00 to 19.00.

On this day, Turku Art Museum will have artist Matts Leiderstam’s (born 1956) exhibition Seen from Here. Leiderstam’s Artistic production is an intriguing mix of creating art, art history and art research. His main area of interest is directed towards old portraits and landscape paintings and the meanings and possible hidden meanings behind them. Leiderstam creates a bridge between past and present by correlating original works to each other, by painting copies of them and utilising information that has come through the works’ conservation.
 

Free entrance to students to Turku Art Museum on Friday 8 October. The Art Museum is then open from 11 am to 7pm.
