TAKE PART IN FREE EDUCATION DAY 30 NOVEMBER
The TYY Committee on Student Affairs, International Affairs and the TYY Student Cafeteria Committee will be organising Free Education Day on 30 November.Free education is a current and important political issue because the possibility to have tuition fees for students who come from outside the EU/EEA has come up in the new Universities Act. International experience shows that tuition fees oven have ultimately expanded to encompass all
student groups. All around campus, "exam invoices" and other information on the importance of free education will be distributed. Come be a part of the cause and hand out exam invoices and receive a free lunch! You can also come and discuss academic affairs and fee policy with the invoice distributors. If you are interested in distributing the exam invoices, contact TYY Committee on Student Affairs member Tuuli Ruotsalainen (tttruo@utu.fi).
