Committee on International Affairs

TYY Committee on International Affairs actively promotes the interests of international students and provides information about international activities. Erasmus Student Network (ESN), International Students of Turku Universities (ISTU) and other international associations work in collaboration with the committee.

The objectives of the TYY Committee on International Affairs are:

• to promote internationalisation, cultural tolerance and multiculturalism on campus
• to develop the distribution of information in English
• to encourage Finnish students to take part in exchange programs
• to promote contact and socialisation between local and international students
• to uphold an international point of view in the Student Union, on campus and in all of the Committee's activities

Become a member

The members of the committee are elected yearly at the Student Union Council meeting. The committee has meetings approximately once in a month and the meetings are held in English. You can attend the meetings even as a non-member.
