Student Cafeterias and Cafés

Unica Oy is a business shared by the Amica restaurants and TYY-owned Universtas Oy. Unica manages the cafeterias and cafés in the university campus area.

Student cafeterias offer government-subsidised student lunches for €2.60 (as of autumn 2008), which usually includes the main dish, side salad, bread and a non-alcoholic drink (e.g. milk or juice). Students are expected to show a valid student card each time to get the student-priced lunch. Postgraduate students with a student card can only get a reduced priced lunch at Assarin ullakko.

The student cafeteria Assarin ullakko and Brygge Deli are running at Student House A, MacchiaVelli is at Educarium (Faculty of Education), Dental is located at Dentali (Lemminkäisenkatu 2), Mikro at Kiinanmyllynkatu 13, the ICT cafeteria at Turku Science Park (ICT building on Joukahaisenkatu), Parkkis on University Hill and Tottisalmi at FSHS.

Unica cafés include Myssy ja Silinteri located on the second floor of the Natural Sciences Building and Arcanum located in Arcanum, the Department of Chemistry building. Café services are also available at Brygge Deli at Student House A.
